Overview
Jersey Advisory and Conciliation Service (JACS) is the employment relations service and is here to help employers, employees and trade unions work together for the prosperity of Jersey business and the benefit of employees. JACS provides a number of guides to the various laws that are relevant to employment in Jersey. Written for both the employer and employee this is a comprehensive library of practical information on all aspects of employment practices in Jersey. In addition, JACS has a regular training programme focused on developing skills for HR and people managers. Its staff are available for individual consultations and will play an active role in settling employment disputes either directly or through conciliation, mediation or arbitration.
Who is JACS available to?
JACS is available to:
- Employees whether long-term residents or newer arrivals
- Trade union officials or representatives
- Employers of any number of employees
