IoD Jersey is excited to announce a major public debate, ‘Jersey’s Economic Future: The IoD Debate,’ scheduled for April 24, 2025, at Rocco Tower, Radisson Blu, from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
This important event will bring together a diverse group of business leaders, economists, and stakeholders to critically examine the economic future of Jersey and work towards a shared vision for a competitive and sustainable jurisdiction.
The event will be hosted by renowned journalist and broadcaster, Natasha Kaplinsky, alongside Alex Ruddy, Chair of IoD Jersey. Together, they will lead a thought-provoking discussion on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats facing Jersey’s economy. With less than 18 months until the next general election, this event will be a vital step in preparing a comprehensive manifesto that reflects the priorities and vision of Jersey’s business community.

- SWOT Analysis of Jersey’s Economy: A critical examination of the island’s economic strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Strategic Vision for Jersey: Discussions on how Jersey can capitalize on its advantages and address key economic challenges.
- Collaboration with Key Organisations: Insights from the Chamber of Commerce, Jersey Finance, Jersey Business, Digital Jersey, Jersey Construction Council, Jersey Farmers’ Union, and Jersey Hospitality Association, who are all collaborating with IoD Jersey to shape this conversation.
