IoD Jersey is delighted to welcome our diverse panel of industry leaders to discuss the future-proofing of employment in Jersey. Our industry experts include professionals with experience in digital skills, financial services, higher/further education, employment and an entrepreneur.
As set out in the new Chair's strategic priorities, we are committed to engaging with the NextGen and understanding their priorities, needs, evolving employment processes, and the so-called "gig" job market. This event will focus on the skills gap and flexible working conditions, the importance of understanding how business approaches have changed over the past five years and focus on macro trends and how businesses and potential employees are adapting.
A facilitated panel discussion will then be followed by an open floor debate where participants can join the discussion.
We welcome our panel; Michael Kirkwood - CEO at Lifeline Group, Karolina Pilcher - Senior Strategy and Research Manager at Jersey Finance, Hannah Samson - Skills Development and Intelligence Team Leader and Chair of the IoD Jersey Student Sub-Committee, Rory Steel - Head of Academy at Digital Jersey and finally, Ry Williams - HR Manager and Chair of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee at Walkers Global.
