Matthew is an experienced agricultural professional with over two-thirds of his career in farming and fresh produce. He managed packhouse operations for a wide range of conventional and organic vegetables, including, Jersey Royal potatoes, courgettes, cauliflower, asparagus, and tomatoes.
Skilled in maintaining major audit and certification standards (LEAF, Red Tractor, Soil Association, SALSA, M&S Field to Fork, and other supermarket audits), overseeing local and export distribution, and managing the day-to-day business accounts. All in all, he combines hands-on agricultural expertise with strong operational and commercial management experience.
