The Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner, the Island’s data protection regulator, is excited to open its doors and invite small business owners, sole traders and start-ups to visit them at informal drop-in sessions next week to chat through local data protection law obligations and provide practical privacy steps.
The first of the JOIC’s ‘Confused to Confident: First Steps in Data Protection’ drop-in sessions takes place at their office at 5 Castle Street on Tuesday 1 July 2025 between 10am and 4pm and the second drop-in takes place on Thursday 3 July from 4pm until 7pm. A Portuguese speaker will be available.
The sessions are open to everyone and there’s no need to register.
