In our second round of workshops more Ambassadors gain WorldHost status.
59 staff have successfully achieved a ‘badge of honour’ after attending a series of intensive workshops.
Individuals from across the retail & hospitality sectors have taken part in the programme to gain WorldHost Ambassador status, and this current batch of Ambassadors celebrated their success at an event held at the Town Hall in St Helier on Wednesday 17th June 2015. Senator Lyndon Farnham, Minister EDD opened proceedings by congratulating all of the participants and said that in these challenging times they were an example of excellence within their industry.
This round of workshops mirrored the sessions held in October last year but this time were heavily focused on the upcoming NatWest Island Games. In total 147 Ambassadors have graduated from the programme.
The initiative has been organised by Jersey Business, working with local training supplier Rebecca Cook of Butterfly Training Limited, which is the only accredited WorldHost trainer in Jersey. The Ambassador training enables those individuals who already provide excellent customer service to go the extra mile for their clients. It is part of Jersey Business’s Retail Development support which provides 1:1 practical support to retailers as well as the Shop Jersey social media platforms.
