Whether you are the owner of your business or have become a director of an established business, then you need to understand the responsibilities that you have as a director of the company.

At this one-hour breakfast session, supported by the IOD, you will learn about:

  • the key things you need to be aware of in your role as director of a trading company
  • what could happen when things go wrong
  • practical things to do to make sure you are discharging your responsibilities properly
  • why it’s so important when growing your company to have good governance in place.

You will receive a copy of the IOD’s Guidelines for Jersey Directors at the end of the seminar.

She is recognised by Chambers 2016 as a "leader in her field" and by Legal 500 as a "leading individual". "Lisa is a Board Member of the Institute of Directors in Jersey as well as non-executive director of Board Apprentice. She has been described by the Offshore Legal Business as one of the "Channel Islands' legal elite line up"."
