Since 1997, 365Tickets has been offering a digital ticketing distribution service for attractions and activities throughout the world. During this time, they have developed a unique and bespoke system which offers in excess of 3,800 products.
Business Improvement Project
Ana Cengic (Theme Park and European Product Manager) and Chantelle Ward (UK Marketing Manager) participated in the Business Improvement programme to apply Lean techniques to the Supplier Onboarding Process, the process of making supplier product live on 365Tickets websites.
During the programme, they created detailed Process Maps which were displayed in the offices and discussed with the wider workforce. The team went on to collect data for analysis and brainstorming sessions across the business. This helped them to highlight bottle-necks, duplication, variable processing and numerous opportunities for change and improvement.

- Elimination of unnecessary processing
- Educating and training for current best practice
- An increase in commission of 1% resulting in 15% gross margin – this is expected to realise a financial benefit of £100,000.00 to the company’s gross profit.
- Development of members of staff to continue with Business Improvement activity.
- Improved training across the contracts team to reduce variation and improve efficiency.
