COVID-19: Safe exit for business Level 2
Jersey has moved to Level 2 of the safe exit framework today, Friday 12th June 2020.
The Government of Jersey has published guidelines for businesses operating at level 2 which can be found on our Safe Exit for Business section on our website. Here you will find guidance for dentist & dental surgeries, campsites, hospitality, indoor leisure & sport, outdoor sport & recreation, allied health, wellbeing & beauty, working in offices and working in people’s homes.
Additional things you must do before opening your business:
- Risk Assessment:Please ensure you have carried out a Risk Assessment for your business, a template can be downloaded here.
- Legionella testing: All businesses must take the appropriate action to ensure the safety of their water supplies and eliminate the risk of exposure to legionella bacteria prior to opening.
- Insurance:Confirm with your insurer that the activity you carry out is covered under your business insurance policy.
- Cashflow:Make sure you keep your accounts up-to-date on a daily basis so you know the cash position of your business and that you can continue to trade.
As ever, keep looking at our website www.jerseybusiness.je/coronavirus which is being constantly updated with information and guides.
Stay safe and best wishes,
The Jersey Business Team
